Protester arrested outside multinational company

Police were called at the weekend to the multinational scientific research company Kenkon as a woman attempted to scale the fence surrounding the company’s UK headquarters. The Dutch-born Francesca Francis, a Doctor working in ‘creative technology research’ with no fixed UK address, was arrested and taken to police cells. Kenkon spokesman Richard Killman-Sheen made a statement to press in answer to Dr Francis’ claims that Kenkon as a part of a secret medical experiment was holding at least one person against their will. ‘This claim is clearly ludicrous’ stated Mr Killman-Sheen ‘and can only be described as laughable. Kenkon is a highly reputable global company who fund research that is certainly far-reaching but by no means illegal. Dr Francis is a known trouble-maker with eccentric and idealistic beliefs.’ Dr Francis was released on bail the next day and Mr Killman-Sheen says the company will not be taking the matter further. One of the company’s directors is rumoured to be the Hollywood actor Melvin Geist.
